Matcha Tea Latte

Changing up my morning routine with some matcha. Matcha is high in antioxidants, amino acids, and chlorophyll. Just one cup of matcha provides at least three times as many antioxidants as regular green tea. Antioxidants are vital as they help fight off free radicals and diseases like cancer. Matcha also contains a unique amino acid called L-theanine. L-theanine promoted metal relaxation and a feeling of mental clarity. The great thing about matcha is you can incorporate it in so many ways like a latte, smoothie, soups, panaceas and much more.

Here is my simple recipe

Ingredients
8oz almond milk (or any dairy free milk)
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tbsp coconut butter
1 tbsp monk fruit or your sweetener of choice

Directions
Warm almond milk on stove top. Once warm, pour into blender with remaining ingredients. Blend until frothy.
